Memories on Main Street Antiques Show and Sale will be held on October 23, 2010 in historic downtown Morristown, Tennessee. Admission is free and the downtown sidewalks of West Main Street will be full of antiques for the show from 9 am - 4 pm. We are expecting a large turnout to this event as the dealer response has been very enthusiastic. Spaces for dealers and individuals wanting to set up on the Main Street sidewalks are still available and cost only $25 for each space this year. We will not be closing off Main Street for the October 23 show but will instead display the antiques on the lower sidewalks. Our local Antiques dealers will be displaying their antiques as well. This is a pure vintage and antiques show so one can expect to see a lot of antiques. The October 23, 2010 antique show will be in cooperation with the Rose Center's very popular Mountain Makins Festival says event organizers from the Downtown Morristown Association. We highly encourage visitors to attend both events in order to get the full experience of Morristown in October. From antique bottles, glass, vintage comics, and furniture to vintage jewelry, musical instruments, dulcimers and dolls, the Memories on Main Street Antiques Show and Sale is the place to find unique collector items to decorate your home or give as gifts. Browse through antique dishes, toys, porcelain, silver, furniture, vintage clothing and much more from over 50 dealers and collectors at bargain prices. In addition to one of the largest selection of antiques ever shown in this region, the show will feature local artist and live acoustic music. Downtown restaurants will be offering specials and local vendors will offer delicious fair food. "Memories on Main Street last year was a whole lot of fun and one of the many activities making Downtown Morristown a fun place to shop, dine and visit. Just like in the old days, downtown is still the place to go to hang out with friends, eat great food and find special and unique gifts" says Darrell Williams, president of the Downtown Morristown Association. Memories on Main Street is traditionally held in Downtown Morristown during the months of May and October. Early vendor applications and reservations are highly encouraged.
