Downtown Morristown Tennessee has ample public parking available in several locations. The main public parking areas are between W. Main St and Morris Blvd. There is also parking available on the North side of W. 1st North Street at the corner of Henry Street and 1st North St. (across from the historic Morristown US Post Office). No overnight parking is permitted in public parking areas other than commercial vehicles having a business in the downtown area or residents of the downtown condos.

Street parking on East and West Main Street is limited to one hour in order to provide easy access for business patrons. Customers and visitors who are planning on staying longer than one hour ( highly encouraged so you can browse our unique shops) are asked to park in the main parking areas just behind the downtown buildings on West Main. There are several access alleys and side streets so you can easily walk to West Main Street in a short distance. Most of the time you can park and walk to the store of your choice faster than what it normally takes to do so at a mall, large department store, or grocery store.

During our very popular downtown festivals, events and concerts, the main parking areas just South of West Main are often closed in order to facilitate vendors and cruise in participants. During special events the public is invited to park South of the railroad tracks and around the HealthStar complex. Other special event parking areas are announced prior to the event so be sure to check here on our web site for updates. For very large events we arrange for offsite parking and shuttles.
